Missing Guinevere-NFS

She was a great lady and we miss her. Sixteen and a half years is a long time.

I like where you placed her on the canvas. Reminiscent of japanese compositions. Very nice.

I'm sorry you're missing your Guinevere.

Thanks Dave!
I too find dogs a lot more appealing then some of the other "beasts" in this world!

Thanks Silvina!
Guinevere was a birthday gift from me to my husband 16 1/2 years ago. She was his first dog and certainly not his last. We still have two more "kids".
She lived long for a big dog but we had to finally let her go.
I looove Japanese art and it influences my work a lot. Particularly the compositions as you noted.
Thanks again!

Sandra,
What a beautiful and sensitive painting. I am sorry for the loss of your dog; that is so hard.

I found your blog via Silvina and I am so impressed about your work. You have such a good feeling for the character of what you paint and your compostions are so strong. Like in this painting. It shows the affection to your dog.
Cheers from Vienna! Nue
