I've never seen 'Alison From Above' before. Fantastic. Never thought to paint someone from this angle. That dash of brilliant red against all that muted soft green is mesmerizing.
Thanks so much everyone. The originals are sold and I decided to have prints made since they were pretty popular paintings. i was in my green period then and I feel another one coming on!
I am so impressed with these paintings. I truly love how you give equal value to colour, balance and postive /negative arrangements in each of these wonderful works.

yup, alison from above is by far my personal fav.
Found your link on Bill Sharp's blog. Fabulous paintings! I was also wondering why i hadnt thought of a blog name like yours! :P
Thanks Ujwala! It is a pretty good blog name but I don't have such a cool first name like yours!
I also got here from Bill Sharp's blog. My favorite is "Take Out." More character, more visual interest than a regular portrait pose. Very striking.
These evoke the spirit of Lily Boulanger to me. Fabulous.
Thanks so much Princess! I take that as a very inspirational complement.
Love that green. Nice work!
Thanks Bill!

those top 2 are really great... love the colors and compositions
that top one is the bomb... for some reason it reminds me of a certain Rockwell painting.
