i like the piano piece alot!

interesting how you lose the figure with the black on black action btwn the girl and the piano.

i would have never thought of that.

omg. The "angel" painting couldn't be any cuter! I love the color variations on angel's face.

There is a rising confidence in your work, even subjects like dog portraits are so good they transcend sentimentality. Always a pleasure.

Sandra, your work is exceptional. I'm blown away by these last two entries.

the black piano and clothing against the pale silvery background is riveting, not to mention the pop of deep red hair.

The saintly dog... brilliant. Both paintings, gorgeous.

Sandra, Both paintings are great!

Love everything about April in Black, lost and muted edges, limited pallet with the whole painting drawing you to the expressive focal point. Masterful!

The composition of the piano painting is so good and the expression of Angel so touching. It is always a pleasure to see your work.

I commented on Silvina,s blog that your work is absolutly sick!... Calif. surfer talk. "Sick" means great! Keep hanging ten.

The echo of piano keys in the background...good composition.
And the models expression, reminds me of Manet's "Olympia."
