Ooh, I love it! Did you piece this together or was there an actual goat involved? I'm trying to imagine a goat in the studio. Hmmm, can't imagine that being too easy. Can't wait to see what's next!

Excellent! "A new direction", involving farm animals? We must be on a similar wave length.

WOW! i love this. it has a very nice formal, understated air to it....and then there is the goat!

intriguing composition and color...can't wait to see more in the "new direction"!!

Wow thanks everyone I thought it might be a bit too quirky but the piece has gotten a great response and it sold the day I finished it. Maybe I am on to something.

Dani, the goat did not make it to the studio but I made it to a very lovely farm, Peaceful Valley Orchards (believe it or not, there are a lot of farms in this part of NJ) and took some photos of their goats.

Let's hear it for goats and old tin cans. Nicely done...

Funny and well done. A skillful balance of old school drawing/ painting and bit of cartoonishness. Charm is a tough balance and you do it easily here.

Love it. Goats rule, and there's so much character in this piece.

Your paintings happily remind me of the charm, beauty, and quirkiness of Cirque du Solei.
