Mam'selle

Once again it has been a while but here is a painting from my Headgear series, a small group of paintings of people in hats. I have always loved the Napoleonic period of "headgear" so I have a few portraits of people in bicorn hats.

Fantastic paintings, and why does that not surprise me?! The hat concept focusing on the Napoleonic theme is tantalising, shapely, enigmatic like your work, your colors, the poses and expressions in and of your subjects, the compositions, the gaze of eyes and painting alike. Love these ones Sandra.. brilliant works by one of my favorite artists.
